Does DMOZ suck?

 

We think so, have you tried repeatedly to submit various sites with no success? We have and we have declared it sucks. OK maybe their editors have too many link submissions but it has also been reported these editors have a vested interest. Open source? Don’t make me laugh. How long can it take one to enter a submission? One week, two, three months? I have submitted various sites months ago and then repeated this couple of times. Google wake up! Abandon this heap of crap or make it a paid submission with editors. As one antagonised DMOZ submitter says here: “…this DMOZ project has done a very good job in the past, but in its current state it is just an outdated link list with obscure and intransparent inclusion criteria. If it can not even be kept current, this project should be either closed down or renamed to “Internet Museum” or “AOL Directory”. At least stop calling it “Open”. We agree.
