Fast track for Google sitelinks

Google sitelinks are those cool looking authority looking links under your website, which not only give you a good amount of real estate on Google’s page, but also increases your brand perception your site’s visibility and reputation, and this goes someway to helping that. The most important thing here is that Google creates Sitelinks automatically. This obviously benefits Google, as who would want to do it manually, but this also helps us. Apparently some people think you need to have had a website online for a few years to get sitelinks – this is myth number one. The second myth is you need tons of traffic. This blog is barely a few months old yet has the basic form of site links already in place look here for hi-tech-it.com you can see that it has tracked a certain page, and it has indented it, and views this to be somewhat popular, so has thus selected it as a potential Sitelink. If you haven’t got Google Webmasters I suggest you sign up for it, as you can see potential contender links for sitelinks, and make adjustments if you do not like what Google has shown. Here is a site I got sitelinks on after about 7 months for a game site.

This is the progression that takes place over a period of time, based on the amount of times a user types in either: a) the URL, or b) the keyphrase, keyword. The skill in this is obviously to obtain authority on the keyword, or keyphrase you are targeting. So how do you get it fast/faster?

You simply keep typing in your site name over a period of weeks in Google toolbar, so you do need Google toolbar installed to fast track sitelinks basically ‘Google it” it various forms, with the .com, the full URL with spacing etc. You can’t just rely on this though you do need other people typing this term in and also you must rank number one for it in Google, it is also important to have updated content and some form of traffic. If your site gets no users or you never update it, you will not get sitelinks at all. Good luck with your marketing and branding online!
