Adbrite Sucks

Adbrite

Man I’m sick of emailing this company about sending me a check / cheque. It was back in December when I reached the set amount of $50 I had set in the admin panel. It is now May a whole five months these lemmings have kept my money. Now I know 50 bucks is not a lot, but imagine if they do this with 1000’s of accounts. Now I have tried (in vain) to get them to send me the cheque for the amount of er 50 dollars, by sending numerous emails back and forth and having tickets just closed. What I can appload them for is they do answer emails pretty fast. However this doesn’t detract from the fact the overall payment is frankly shit.

Just check out some of the responses to my questions the final one is hillarious!

“Thank you for contacting AdBrite. Before a payment can be processed, here are the criteria that must be met at the time we process payments:
1. Earnings must have matured
2. Matured earnings must meet the minimum check requirement
3. We must have collected payment from the advertiser for the matured earnings
4. Pay to name must be filled out
5. Address must be complete

A payment has not been processed because we have been unable to collect payment from the advertisers. We cannot pay out earnings that we have not yet collected. Once we are able to collect payment from the advertisers, those earnings will be added to the next monthly payment. If we are unable to collect payment, then neither you nor AdBrite will get paid. “

So I could have spent 5 plus months running this shitty company’s ads on my site without even getting paid! Hell no, I am sorry, but that is not on. Can you imagine if I told the finance company:

“Hi I am sorry but I leant all my family members money, and because I haven’t been able to collect the money from them, until I collect money from Aunt Molley, Grandma Higgins, and Pops, then you neither me or you will get paid”! LOL.

I don’t know many businesses that operate with this accounting practice in place. In effect by running Adshite on your websites, you might never actually get paid! I hope this is a warning to all webmasters thinking of using Adbrite

It’s a pity. AdBrite has very long period when it does not pay earnings (Net60). And if it do not pay even after that time… it’s very bad.

I’m try to use their ads myself so your info is of my interest. Thank you for sharing it.
