OK so Adbrite sent the check
By admin | Posted in Money Making | No CommentsI blogged about how Adbrite sucks a few posts back, just search for it. The check finally arrived shortly after I slated them. Does this mean they are great? Not really. There are several reasons still why I think it sucks:
- It takes too long to get paid
- They don’t pay with PayPal or other similar fast system
- You cannot tweak the adverts enough - look and feel
- You cannot positions the ads properly on the page - they tend to just retardedly float to the left all the time - wrapping a div center does nothing
- It still puts ads on your site even though you chose “manually approve”
- You might NEVER actually get paid - this is their own words not mine.
If they sorted that above list out, they might have more users and gain market share - I would consider replacing Adsense only if that above list was completed. Waiting for 5+ months to get a measily 50 dollar check is not acceptable however. Some of the benefits include some decent CPC’s. I’d put it above Bidvertisers which is completely shit, but still lags way behind Adsense, and the lack of any real innovation is annoying.
