Proof Google doesn’t like sites selling links

If you want proof just take a look at this site Apparently it is a link experiment, (not knowing what kind of experiment it is other than gaming Google) that has Links SOLD: $15,470 it’s not bad, but it is dead now, and those links are worthless, or at least vastly overpriced. PR 0 sites aren’t worthless, but someway near to it. It is PR as it stands now. You can see how ruthless Google can be, I would guess that page was manually edited by Google’s spam team. There are a couple of things to consider: are they profiteering on the back of Google’s Page Rank algorithm? Yes all of the links are bought on the PR rating. I am not sure whether Google frowns upon just link selling or whether or not it adds value, that page or ‘experiment’ adds no value to the search results. The home page where all the most expensive links are was a PR5!

“It’s been just over a year since I started the Link Experiment and with a link purchased today for $245, the site total has been boosted to $14,161. I’ve put the Link Experiment on the back burner for a while, but perhaps it’s time to breath some life into the site. I’m betting recent purchases have been made for SEO purposes. A $245 permanent link on the homepage of a PR 4 site…”

It’s Page Rank 0 now.
