The UK TV show is back with more mundane Americanised early-mid 90’s style entertainment on SKY One. After being probably over ten years it has returned - get this - with the exact same setup, dialogue and style as it had in the 90’s or whatever era it first aired in. Absolutely nothing has changed, even the games are the same - did they keep them in lock up for this entire time only to hire some cleaners to wipe away the cobwebs and give them a new lick of paint?

What about that old fart American style referee with the whistle? Was he locked away in some cryogenic state only to be woken up about ten years later like nothing had changed? Well maybe it hasn’t really, the apathetic way Britain is run, I wouldn’t expect anything revolutionary. The audience - a mix of happy happy mom, dog, dad, son, types - wittingly wave foam coloured hands around in a joyous fashion, whilst listening to Ian Wright (yawn) and his bimbo sidekick woffle on about something no one really cares about.

Rather than bringing back some 90s game-show with the exact same format and fuck all originality I would have liked to have seen the show shot in a similar setting to the epic move of the same name - minus the “s” with more originality. Pffft.
