Screw you Apple Inc.
I’m f’ing pissed at Apple. I made the mistake of updating to your f’ing 2.30.03 update on the iPhone 3g. It seems you only released that POS for the sole purpose of stopping Yellowsn0w from unlocking it. Well now I’m stuck with $800 brick again which btw I bought in the UK, but because Apple have this f’ing policy about locking it to a phone provider It’s gone back in the wardrobe again. Well actually no. I’m using it as an alarm clock you f’ing tw@ts.
What Apple fail to realise through their inept politics is people move around. In fact all the time. Global economy and village disparities are becoming smaller and less obvious.
So far I’ve managed to use this f’ing ‘SMART’ phone for about 2 months, prior to that I was paying international roaming fees by the f’ing ton.
Thanks to the folks at YS I was able to use it on another local provider, that was until I updated to 2.2.1 and baseband 2.30. DO NOT UPDATE TO THIS VERSION.
Now looking forward I am waiting for the iPhone dev team to unlock vs 3.0 it seems. In the future I will double check before I download anymore crap from Apple sucks.
I think the best bet is to stick it on f’ing eBay and get rid!

Yah Apple locks you in and you are stock with them then when they give you some customer support you feel like they did you a favor. I know the drill. Had an IPOD and never again an Apple product so I know what you are going through.
All I can say is I feel for you.
Excellent post Dror. No more Apple for me, I spent nearly £400 on a product I can no longer use just because I moved. They only released that update to block Yellowsnow attempts at unlocking. For good will I might smash it up and post it back to Apple Inc.
