Google webmasters frustrated after major algorithm change

Google is the devil in disguise.
…according to some webmasters. I reported how one of my sites bombed out the index, only for it to come right back a few days later, and then a couple of days ago again, BLAM gone again. Earnings down massively, no idea why we have this yo yo effect, but read some other quotes taken from a popular seo site

My site has bombed from 15,000 - 20,000 uniques per day to 200. I was found for over 140,000 unique keyphrases last month according to Awstats and now I’m ranking for none.
I have been completely wiped off the map in a matter of hours. Revenue down from $450 per day to about $1, and i have some other site i have never seen before that links to mine showing as my cache snapshot.
Great.. Just great, thanks Google this has ruined my life.
