WOW even large corporates are gaming Google
Seems like there is no end to large corps trying to game Google. We posted a while ago about gocompare.com getting Google whacked. But some new investigations reveal there is a lot of big corps trying to game Google also. Check out this page and view its page SOURCE: Ctrl U, Ctrl F, and then type “asda”. It will take you part of the source that has invisible links embedded in the page. You cannot see these links on the page copy, only when you do what I said. We can see competitive keywords like “car insurance”, “loans” “ISA”, there are quite a few invisible links on there, from James Villas (should that not be James’ Villas?) to NatWest bank all trying to increase link spam. Asda not long ago also got Google slapped, due to some dodgy SEO tactics, but seem to be back gaming it again. LOL.

This deserves a lollercopter:

Gocompare.com get’s its ass handed to it by the Big ‘G’
www.gocompare.com a large UK website that apparently compares the best deal for you recently got its ass handed to it by Google, by purchasing millions of links to rank its site high for keywords “car insurance” that millions search for. This is against Google’s TOS, and can get you banned completely. It is black hat SEO. The worst thing is that gocompare.com aren’t actually an impartial service as they are owned by a large car insurance company pfft! Good on Google for slapping these rogues. How to determine who comes first though must be a massive headache for the big “G”.
Take a look at gocompare’s traffic before and after Google slapped it! Wack!
