This is against Google’s TOS, and can get you banned completely. It is black hat SEO. The worst thing is that gocompare.com aren’t actually an impartial service as they are owned by a large car insurance company pfft! Good on Google for slapping these rogues. How to determine who comes first though must be a massive headache for the big “G”.

Take a look at gocompare’s traffic before and after Google slapped it! Wack!
