$44.6 billion dollars for Yahoo!

We initially reported Microsoft wanted to take-over Yahoo, for a reported $22bn, we can now say that analysts predict a $44.6bn, 31 bucks a share. Investors will probably accept this, and Microsoft should get regulatory approval – this merger poses a threat to Google. Good news for Yahoo shareholders. Can Microsoft make this work, differing cultures, how will the rebranding work, will Microsoft call it Yahoo Microsoft, or Microsoft, or something else?

    Yeah I have read this on the news.. I dont know if this is going to happen now that jerry yang (founder) is promising shareholder to take yahoo on the next level. But for lots of internet users, yeah we are more than willing to support the deal of microsoft and yahoo. Well, its about time google will have a serious competitor in search engine. Google is monopolizing the web and its getting stricker nowadays. Lots of users area already dismayed by this.
