The Internet will “die” in 2010

The warning signs can no longer be ignored. Usage of the global network by people and organizations may begin to cause “clogging” and blocking of Internet in next 2-3 years experts have warned. It is necessary taking precautions for building of entirely new web infrastructure.

Current traffic flow (or flooding) comprising of videos, music and graphic files will be unable to be maintained. $140 billion of investment is needed to prevent this effect entirely.
Systems of distribution stations called (hubs), used as a bridge between consumers and different servers is working in full capacity now. After three years alone it will be not enough. For the last year consumers have created about 161 exabytes. One exabyte is equal to 1.1 million gigabytes - or a movie with DVD quality and duration of at least 50,000 years! If current Internet infrastructure does not dramatically expand, in 2010 all sites and even entire domains may become inaccessible or users may be forced to stay in queues for access.

If the internet infrastructure is unable to meet these demands, it is not difficult to imagine the view speed of a video on the web
